About the Widget
Our Rainfall widget uses the Environment Agency's application programming interface (API). First the postcode identifies your local rainfall station and the associated rainfall.
We use 0.4mm as the threshold for rainfall to allow for error with the tipping bucket raingauge which measures in increments of 0.2mm.
